A celebration of freedom and family. Twenty-five wrongfully incarcerated men and women gather with their families, attorneys, Centurion employees, volunteers, and supporters to share stories of courage, justice, and the fight for freedom.
Our annual Autumn Dinner & Auction was held on Friday, September 14, 2018. We were joined by 140 of our friends and supporters as we honored Judy Scheide and raised support for our work in seeking freedom for the innocent.
We spent two November nights in NYC! Our board member Jozelyn Davis and her husband Peter, hosted two social gatherings at their lovely home in New York City. Each night about 25 guests were introduced to Centurion’s work through conversations with three of our exonerees (Michael, Richard, and Darryl), our staff, and Board of Directors. The Davis’ were gracious enough to let us “transform” a little of their home into a gallery of Centurion photographs, featuring many of our exonerees, their families, and compelling release day photos. We enjoyed the evenings with wonderful people, food, drinks, and sharing our passion of helping the wrongfully convicted.

Rob and Su Connor hosted a panel discussion, “Wrongful Conviction: Injustice in the Criminal Justice System” at The Christina Seix Academy in early November. Centurion Executive Director, Kate Germond was featured with exonerees, Richard Miles, Michael Austin, and Ralph Lee. Cassandra Jackson, Professor of English at TCNJ, was the moderator.
