Volunteers

Centurion is assisted in its work by a group of high-level volunteers who serve as our Case Developers — often retired lawyers, doctors, scientists, and educators who help identify and develop prospective wrongful-conviction cases. Volunteers commit to at least eight hours a week, and their work includes:

• Collecting and summarizing the facts of a case through direct correspondence with incarcerated people
• Verifying information against the documentation
• Preparing cohesive reports that demand logical analysis and meticulous attention to detail
