Ben Spencer has always maintained his innocence, says Jim McCloskey, who has worked on Spencer’s case for years.

Ben Spencer is probably looking at his last shot at freedom. He has been behind bars for more than three decades after his conviction in a deadly 1987 robbery, and his attorneys said this week that new evidence could free him

Ben Spencer, who maintains his innocence, is serving a life sentence after being arrested in March 1987 for the robbery and killing of Dallas business owner Jeffrey Young.
